Role context
This role will be an integral part of the People Technology Team, responsible for people-related technology for our 9,000 colleagues in over 40 countries within the AVEVA Group. As a Platform Enablement Partner, you will enable the effective, secure, and scalable use of our People Technology platforms with a primary focus on Workday. You will establish and maintain reporting standards and governance, ensure data is accurate and accessible, and align with business needs. You will also support security administration and integration enablement to maintain a secure and connected People Technology ecosystem. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that blends technical understanding with platform management and stewardship.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain standards for Workday reporting.
- Partner with the People Team and business stakeholders to ensure reporting needs are met consistently and securely.
- Support the lifecycle of reports, including cataloguing, versioning, and deprecation.
- Promote self-service reporting through consistent standards, documentation, and training.
- Assist in the maintenance of role-based access controls and user provisioning frameworks.
- Support access reviews, audits, and compliance activities.
- Provide support for People Technology integrations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Assist in maintaining integration standards and reusable frameworks.
- Assist in the management of EIBs and the running of EIB loads.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure secure and reliable data flows between systems.
- Oversee proper use of People technologies and provide support, advice and training on best practice to HR colleagues.
- Represent the People Technology team on HR projects, interpreting requirements, suggesting solutions and ensuring deliverables are completed on time and to the required standard.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, particularly the HR CoE’s and People Services teams.
- Participate in the Workday Community, propose improvements to the Workday solution, and build a network of peers to share best practice.
- Handle sensitive data with care, maintaining GDPR compliance and implementing necessary security measures.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years' relevant experience in a related discipline.
- At least 2 years’ experience providing Workday support for a global organisation.
- A passion for HR technology and how it can improve HR operations.
- Strong understanding of reporting tools and data governance principles.
- Familiarity with access control models and integration concepts.
- Active interest and working understanding of Artificial Intelligence and how AI can solve HR problems; focus on Agentic AI and LLM functionality is desired.
- Ability to solve complex and varied problems with appropriate solutions.
- Flexibility to work in a global team across multiple time zones.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across cultures and levels.
- Well-developed IT skills; proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Understanding of regulations such as GDPR and the EU AI Act.

Working pattern
Hybrid working: By default, employees are expected to be in their local AVEVA office three days a week; some roles may be fully office-based. Some positions supporting particular customers or markets may be remote.
