Responsibilities



  • Define the overarching technical strategy for complex system integrations within Workday solutions.

  • Guide the end-to-end deployment of technical integrations between a customer's Workday system and their broader enterprise architecture.

  • Play a key role in technical integration scope advisory within our Government Vertical and help drive UK Government technical transformation.

  • Leverage Workday's enterprise-class ESB technology; be hands-on in complex integration builds; act as the primary advisor on technical architecture and best practices.

  • Translate high-level business requirements into robust, scalable, and secure architectural decisions. Design, build, and deploy integrations into production environments.

  • Lead critical discussions around integration enterprise architecture, application security, and system authentication. Serve as the lead technical point of contact, influencing stakeholders and aligning the technical vision with business goals.

  • Manage multiple, concurrent customer engagements and mentor other consultants. Bring deep expertise and strategic vision to navigate challenging technical landscapes with autonomy.

  • Months 1–6: Strategic immersion and certification; Months 6–24: Leadership, mentorship, and innovation. Include deepening certifications, leading technical strategy on major projects, and driving architectural prototypes and scalable designs.



Qualifications


Basic Qualifications



  • 10+ years of experience delivering complex enterprise business application projects, with a significant focus on UK Local and National Government.

  • 5+ years in a senior technical leadership, architect, or advisory role.

  • Advanced proficiency in enterprise integration patterns and technologies, including SOAP, REST, XML, XSLT, Java, .NET, or similar. Subject matter expert in at least one area.

  • Extensive experience with back-end web development and web services, including designing and optimizing APIs.

  • Fluent in English; knowledge of another major European language (French, German, Spanish, Italian) is advantageous but not mandatory.

  • Ability to undergo and successfully secure UK Government security clearances is a mandatory requirement.



Other Qualifications



  • Proven track record as a Senior Technical Advisory / Solution Architect or similar leadership position within a consulting or software organization.

  • Deep expertise in integration patterns, data manipulation, and optimization techniques for performance.

  • Strategic problem-solver with a history of delivering results for high-profile clients.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives.

  • Strong desire to stay current with latest technologies, mentor juniors, and contribute to the firm\'s intellectual capital.

  • Resourceful and autonomous, capable of leading projects from discovery to deployment in various work environments (remote, on-site, hybrid).



Our Approach to Flexible Work
