Develop a team of Product & Services Executives
As the Workspace Product and Services manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing a team of 5 Product and Services Executives focused on single or multi-vendor within our Workspace technology proposition. This individual will also be responsible for ensuring to maintain their technology knowledge and competence and work collaboratively across the business to ensure we're meeting the mutually agreed objectives of the partnership, aligning to the direction and guidance provided by the Alliance Lead.
As the Workspace Product & Services Manager, you'll be responsible for:
- Developing and managing a team and be responsible for their development and professional growth
- Aligning with Alliance Managers to ensure full support of vendor requirements and collaborate stakeholders to ensure seamless cooperation and alignment on goals and strategies
- Conducting thorough market research to understand opportunities in technology propositions and position the vendors effectively by providing insights and strategic recommendations
- Understanding and analysing the competitive positioning of Softcat and its vendors
- Collaborating with the Commercial Enablement team to support sales initiatives and enablement requirements and provide product expertise to ensure successful outcomes
- Providing tailor made solutions to customers and supporting them by leveraging vendor technologies
- Encouraging innovation and the adoption of new technologies among customers and internal teams
- Maintaining high levels of technical proficiency and keeping up to date on the latest technological trends
- Delivering enablement sessions and be responsible for onboarding and development of brand new teams
- Experience in a partnership management and vendor relations role is desirable
- Strong leadership skills and an ability to build relationships with external and internal stakeholders
- Sales and Technical certifications relevant to the industry would be advantageous
- Ability to build, motivate and engage a team and work with a collaborative and proactive mindset
- Attention to detail and prioritisation of tasks
