Youth Development Lead - Development Awards (Manchester)

New Yesterday

Overview

At The King's Trust, we empower young people to reach their full potential. We are looking for a Youth Development Lead to drive our Development Award Programmes for young people aged 16-30, helping them enhance their skills, navigate education, training, or employment, and build a brighter future. The role is about mentoring, guiding, and championing change, working with Outreach, Marketing colleagues and the customer service centre to ensure safe recruitment and effective engagement. This role suits someone who is organised, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is motivated to make a real impact on young people's lives. There is also the opportunity to foster connections with local colleges and organisations and to lead local Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) initiatives aligned with our wider EDI goals. The Trust may require deputising in activities within your area of responsibility where needed.

Are you ready to make a real impact on the lives of young people and thrive in a collaborative environment where every day offers a chance to make a difference?

Last year, we helped more than 40,000 young people, with three in four moving into a positive outcome for work, education or training. Youth Development Leads play a crucial role in supporting young people from all backgrounds and circumstances to fulfil their potential.
