What you will do

  • Assist with Environmental Impact Assessment requirements and supporting the consent process for infrastructure and development projects.
  • Work in multidisciplinary teams with clients across energy, roads, rail, marine, property and communities sectors.
  • Contribute to project delivery across feasibility, design, planning, construction and operation stages.
  • Engage in day-to-day activities such as developing project documentation, scheduling meetings, tracking actions, managing project spend and information in Common Data Environments.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, communicate effectively, and manage your time and projects where applicable.

Environmental Management – role and team

  • Provide advice and support to clients through the consenting process – inception, optioneering, design, planning, construction and operation.
  • Assess social and environmental risks and impacts, devise mitigation solutions, and work embedded in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Mentored by experienced Consultants and exposed to real-world challenges and innovative solutions.

Graduate responsibilities

  • Perform professional-level tasks contributing to project goals.
  • Contribute to content creation, project profiles, market analysis, and client-facing materials.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, communicate effectively, and manage time and projects as needed.

Environmental Consents – Project Management

  • Support the Project Manager with project management documentation (plans, cost estimates, forecasts, risk registers, schedules, stakeholder registers).
  • Schedule meetings, take minutes, track actions; monitor progress.
  • Work with multi-disciplinary environmental project teams and suppliers; assist in administering contracts.
  • Prepare invoices and track project spend; manage information in CDEs.

Graduate Development Programme

Two-year programme focused on personal and professional development with blended learning, core business/professional skills training, career development workshops, mentoring for professional registration, and on-the-job experience. Refer to the Graduate brochure or Graduate Website for sector-specific details and qualification requirements.

What we are looking for

  • Graduated with at least a 2:2 in a relevant degree (master’s or bachelor’s).
  • Be starting in April or September 2026.
  • Passion for Earth & Environment, including Environmental management and/or Project management.
  • Good numerical skills with data analysis and interpretation (Excel, GIS).
  • Creative, problem-solving mindset; ability to share new ideas.
  • Willingness to travel to site or client offices as required.
  • Eligibility to apply and complete the application process (including online skill enabler assessment).
