Role Summary And Impact
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Account Director for our Paid Social team. The successful candidate will lead a team of Account Managers and Account Executives, managing and optimizing campaigns across a diverse portfolio of accounts. This role requires a strong leader with deep expertise in paid social media, exceptional client‑management skills, and the ability to drive strategic campaign success.
Client Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for key retail clients in the clothing and homeware sectors.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and long‑term partnerships.
Understand clients’ business goals and translate them into effective paid‑social strategies.
Campaign Activation and Planning
Lead the planning, execution and optimisation of paid‑social campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit and Pinterest.
Oversee the development of media plans, budgets and timelines to meet client objectives.
Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget and achieve the desired KPIs.
Escalation Management
Act as the escalation point for any client or campaign issues, resolving them promptly and effectively.
Implement processes to mitigate risks and ensure smooth campaign execution.
Team Training and Development
Mentor and develop the skills of the account‑management team, providing regular training and performance feedback.
Foster a collaborative and high‑performance team culture.
Conduct regular one‑on‑one meetings with direct reports to support their professional growth.
Leadership
Lead the client portfolio for a major FMCG client, ensuring strategic alignment and exceptional service delivery.
Drive continuous improvement in campaign performance and client satisfaction.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (creative, analytics, etc.) to deliver integrated marketing solutions.

About you
Proven track record of experience in paid‑social advertising and managing large‑scale campaigns.
Proven track record of experience in a leadership role, managing teams and direct reports.
Strong expertise in paid‑social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.) and tools.
Excellent client‑management skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
Exceptional strategic thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience with retail clients, specifically in the clothing and homeware sectors, is a plus.

Location & Work Requirements
This is a UK‑based role and requires individuals to have the right to work in the UK. It is a hybrid working arrangement with teams in the office about four days a week.
