As an Account Executive, you will work closely with Inside sales leadership to convert inbound, add-on, and self-generated opportunities into successful customers. You will partner with inside sales developers to land new business and expand the growing install base in Small Business for our SaaS solution portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of the client’s business challenges and data security regulatory concerns, advising how KnowBe4 solutions address those challenges.
  • Utilize contemporary prospecting and networking tools to identify opportunities and prospect personas.
  • Administer inbound inquiries, qualify and send proposals, and provide supporting literature to existing customers.
  • Arrange and attend remote or on-site visits and meetings with existing customers, including travel as required.
  • Collaborate with strategic alliance partners to engage new partner-led prospects where appropriate.
  • Promote KnowBe4 products, services, training, and professional services.
  • Leverage wider KnowBe4 resources to underpin success and growth.
  • Develop strategic account plans and progress opportunities through to close.
  • Ensure customer interactions are updated in the CRM with accurate forecasting.
  • Research the competitive landscape and share insights with sales colleagues.
  • Participate in events and seminars and share feedback and success stories with the business.

Qualifications

We are looking for ambitious individuals with two to five years of prior sales experience, ideally in security-related SaaS or enterprise software. You may have come from a pre-sales background and are looking to move to direct sales, or have a strong track record in inside sales seeking a breakout role.

  • Passion for winning with a keen interest in applying security in regulated environments to solve regulatory compliance or digital transformation challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable in a fast-paced UK and US business culture.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
  • Competitive, driven, and capable of delivering against targets.
  • Fast learner who can translate technical concepts into compelling stories and use cases to demonstrate value.
