Job Description
We’re looking for a proactive, thoughtful and values-driven Account Executive to join our small but high-impactful team. You’ll help deliver earned media campaigns for clients, driving the green transition – from clean energy innovators to global environmental movements and sustainability consultancies.
This role comes with a high degree of variety. You’ll support day-to-day campaign activity, take the lead on media research, shape messaging, and play a direct role in securing highly impactful coverage across national and international media.
You’ll be part of a collaborative, values-led team that moves fast, punches above its weight, and cares deeply about the work we do.
Responsibilities
You’ll support the delivery of strategic communications and PR work across several client accounts:
- Drafting and refining press releases, media pitches, and briefing notes
- Researching journalist angles, trends, and timely media opportunities
- Building and maintaining media lists and journalist relationships
- Helping manage client updates, internal timelines, and meetings
- Monitoring coverage and producing clear, accurate campaign reports
- Contributing to brainstorming, creative strategy, and new ideas
Role Requirements
You’ll likely be a great fit if you tick some of the following boxes:
- Have experience in PR and communications (agency, in-house, or freelance)
- Or hold a degree relating to sustainability, climate, environment, or media
- Demonstrably passionate about sustainability and climate action
- Strong writer; able to communicate clearly and creatively
- Knows how to spot a good media hook and pitch a story with confidence
- Organised, meets deadlines, and enjoys taking ownership of projects
- Works well in a small, collaborative team
- Shares our values and wants to use communications as a force for good
