Overview

A key player within MindShare's Ford Media team, the Account Manager works closely with Ford's Media and Marketing function and WPP's Ford teams to ensure Ford delivers on its Business Solution and electrification vision. The role partners with multiple Mindshare and WPP teams to provide best-in-class media support across the Ford Pro Business Unit, supporting Ford's short-term sales goals and long-term growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Support media co-ordination — be a Ford Pro expert and the go-to internal resource for insight and reporting queries. Communicate campaign ambition, KPIs, performance goals, and how campaigns drive toward them.
  • Assist the Business Unit lead in partnering with the Ford Media Client to understand Ford Pro measurement, usage, and the relationship between brand and performance media, including how to invest in both and how to evaluate and maximize ROI against Ford business objectives.
  • Support the Business Unit Lead in building Mindshare market relationships with key stakeholders by understanding local market campaigns and communicating this story to client stakeholders.
  • Support operating and engagement models to ensure effective information dissemination, continual engagement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, aligning and educating between global teams.
  • Act as a key connector between the client and internal activation team/channel strategy to deliver best-in-class media campaigns aligned to client objectives, driving optimization and performance.
  • Identify opportunities in existing campaigns, plans, and programs through data analysis and dashboards (immediate and long-term horizons).
  • Analyze and tell the client story across campaign results and related metrics (e.g., EOCs, PCAs).
  • Collaborate with Strategist to share campaign findings and trends to inform future strategy and planning workstreams.
  • Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders and become a trusted advisor who can inform decision-making, including providing opinions in ambiguous situations.
  • Bring a passion for B2B media reporting and insights to optimize omni-channel programs.
  • Maintain curiosity about topics and debates in the media and digital industry.
  • Communicate effectively, adapting style to different audiences and navigating roadblocks.
  • Collaborate as a team player with interest in learning about media and the automotive industry.
  • Navigate matrixed organizations with differing perspectives and goals; maintain a calm approach to urgent deadlines.
  • Adopt a mindset of continuous development and curiosity across disciplines; understand how creativity and data join to deliver tangible results.
  • Turn analytical data into client stories; 3 years+ of strong B2B media experience with the ability to operate at local and global levels.
  • Be well-versed in digital media channels and how they connect to the broader picture.
  • Competent in Excel and ideally experienced with Power BI (front and back-end) and reporting tools.
  • Confident in client-facing communication and presentations; data-driven and detail-oriented, capable of challenging assumptions and suggesting new approaches.
  • Ability to present conceptual topics in a simple, meaningful manner, transforming marketing challenges into solutions.
  • Understand how digital media integrates with other media channels, both owned and paid.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3+ years of strong B2B media experience with a track record of turning data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in digital media channels and how they contribute to a broader media picture.
  • Strong Excel skills; experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is preferred.
  • Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills.
  • Data-driven, detail-oriented mindset with ability to question assumptions and propose new approaches.
  • Ability to tell compelling stories with data and to adapt communication to different audiences.
