The Role

As an Account Manager, you’ll play an integral role in delivering fantastic work for our clients. You’ll have an excellent understanding of the social media landscape and how it fits into integrated marketing campaigns. You’ll be comfortable liaising closely with clients and stakeholders at a senior level, and work collaboratively with our creative, design and production teams to effectively manage projects through from briefing to asset delivery.

Your Responsibilities

  • Project management: oversee the daily always-on output of the account by developing budgets, timelines and SOWs; distill client briefs into marketing, communication or social objectives; work with the creative & production teams to ensure work remains on track, on brief and delivered on time; have a sound understanding of paid media and offer support to the creative, client and paid teams; be organised and process-driven with initiative to own projects from start to finish.
  • Client management: work with clients at a senior level; inform clients of new social initiatives and opportunities; manage expectations and push back when needed; strong communication, presentation and written communication skills.
  • Quality control: act as brand guardian to ensure work is on-brand before delivery.
  • Commercial: manage campaign and production budgets and identify opportunities for upselling in case of underspend.
  • Reporting: pull monthly or quarterly reports, analyse performance data across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and present findings and optimisations to clients.
  • Team support: manage junior team members, oversee workload, provide direction and delegate tasks, with ability to coordinate with senior management when needed.

Some Specific Skills You’ll Need

  • Proven track record either at an agency or client-side in social, digital, marketing or advertising
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects, workstreams and teams
  • Ability to negotiate deadlines and client requests to deliver work on time and to a high standard
  • Business sense, commercial acumen and ability to work to budgets and tight deadlines
  • Understanding of social media metrics and ability to translate into client-friendly reports
  • Understanding of design and video production, including small to medium shoots
  • Genuine passion for social and creative
  • Dedicated, hard-working and tenacious
  • Highly organized and able to stay calm under pressure
  • Self-starter with initiative and willingness to roll up sleeves
  • Good creative eye and attention to detail; hungry to contribute to the creative process
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google suites (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook; Sheets, Slides, Docs)
  • Experience in conducting social media analysis and pulling together results/reports
  • Strong and confident written and verbal communication
