Basic Salary: £40k to £45k + commission (uncapped) & Benefits
Location: Hybrid/Surrey
Our client is an industry-leading UK-based technology business focused on the safety of lone and at-risk workers across both public and private sectors. They protect over 200,000 employees, including more than 100 NHS trusts, 150 local authorities, 200 housing associations, and numerous commercial organizations across sectors such as utilities, facilities management, distribution, and care.
The Account Manager will play an instrumental role in driving growth from 50 to 60 key accounts. Your primary responsibility is to manage these existing UK accounts, ensuring retention, renewal, and cross-sell/upsell of the full portfolio of services, including mass notification services and applications.
Key Responsibilities
- CRM management - Forecasting and delivering daily, monthly, and annual retention, pipeline, and revenue targets.
- Providing first-class account management to maintain excellent CSAT and NPS scores.
- Nurturing customers within the account base to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Maximizing each customer's potential spend through account development planning, relationship building, and data analysis.
- Delivering excellent bid and proposal responses with executive summaries and win themes.
- Identifying potential referrals and decision-makers within client organizations.
- Setting up meetings between client decision-makers and company practice leaders/principals.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with other departments to enhance the customer experience.
- Staying informed on industry news and insights relevant to the business to inform sales strategy.
- Working with the Marketing team to identify opportunities within your account base.
Knowledge and Experience
- Experience in a regulatory environment or with telecoms or technology-enabled business services.
- Strong account management and development skills.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and strategic execution skills.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to retain customers and prevent cancellations.
- CRM experience essential, SFDC desirable.
- Demonstrable commercial acumen and familiarity with sales methodologies.
