Accounting, Insight and Advisory Manager

Overview

We are looking for a Manager to join our Accounting, Insight and Advisory (AIA) team within the growing national Finance Function Support solution. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of private, SME businesses within the Northern region, building client relationships and delivering premium year-end service, while staying in regular communication with clients throughout the year.

Responsibilities

• Managing and overseeing the Accounting, Insight and Advisory (AIA) team
• Managing a portfolio of clients primarily reporting under FRS 102 and FRS 105
• Responsible for budgeting, WIP management and billing for client portfolio
• Coaching, training, and mentoring team members to enhance skills and professional growth

What we are looking for

• Fully Qualified Accountant – ACA/ACCA
• Strong technical skills, including FRS 102 and FRS 105 experience
• Experience of working in a professional practice, ideally in an equivalent accounting advisory team
• Experience of managing and overseeing a team within financial services, including training, coaching, and performance management
• Working knowledge of Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and/or other cloud accounting packages
• Knowledge of CCH or similar professional accounts preparation packages
