Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (DOE)

Our client, a well-established and respected firm of accountants with offices across Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, is seeking an Accounts Senior / Semi Senior to strengthen their dynamic team.

The Role

You will play a key role in providing a high-quality service to a varied portfolio of clients, including owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and private individuals. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.

• Managing accounts assignments from planning through to completion.

• Preparing personal tax returns and assisting with corporation tax compliance.

• Liaising directly with clients, providing advice and building long-term relationships.

• Supporting junior team members and reviewing their work where appropriate.

• Assisting partners and managers with ad-hoc advisory projects.

About You

The ideal candidate will be:

• ACA / ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience.

• Experienced in both accounts preparation and personal tax compliance within an accountancy practice.

• Confident working directly with clients and managing multiple priorities.

• Proficient in cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, etc.) with good Excel skills.

• A strong communicator with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach.
