The Opportunity

An established and growing accountancy practice in Scotland is looking to add an Accounts Senior to their Edinburgh or Glasgow office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant / assistant to take the next step in their career - managing a small portfolio, mentoring junior team members, and working closely with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare annual statutory accounts and provide practical advice to clients.
• Support and guide junior team members, helping them develop their skills.
• Collaborate with your team while working independently as needed.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, colleagues, and managers.
• Track your time accurately and contribute to meeting budgets and fee processes.

About You

• Previous experience in a similar role within public practice
• ACCA / CA Qualified, QBE or Part-Qualified
• Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
