Location: Second Floor, Waterside House, 471 Kirkstall Road, Leeds, LS4 2QB
Hourly rate: £13.85
Hybrid working - 40% office 60% remote
Working Days/Hours: Monday to Friday: 9am-5pm - 2/3 WEEK TRAINING, Core hours 10:00 - 15:00 - flexi time 7am to 7pm, 37 hrs p/w
Brook Street in partnership with the Home Office has a fantastic opportunity to join their team as an Admin Officer.
List the duties/ responsibilities:
- Demonstration of good organisational skills.
- Able to monitor and progress case information
- Work well in a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Making well informed decisions for our customers.
- Providing support by undertaking a range of administrative tasks such as: file movement and tracking, logging correspondence, monitoring electronic inboxes, issuing letters and dealing with customer queries.
- Scanning and digitising of customer supporting evidence and updating relevant databases/files.
- Ensuring case files are decision ready for casework, appeals or removal processes.
- Telephone call handling / booking appointments.
- Able to demonstrate sound interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills and thrive working as part of a team.
- Dress Code - smart casual and no sport clothing.
Training:
Training will be provided and should take about 2/3 weeks. Training will be office based - No holiday during the training period.
Clearance level (to be applied for by Brook Street upon a successful application):
DBS + CTC
Role specific requirements:
You must hold a valid passport and must have lived in the UK for longer than 3 years. Please note that period of 6 months or longer spent outside of the UK in the last 3 years will unfortunately not be accepted. This role requires security clearance that will be processed for you, if successful.
