Join the Urgent & Emergency Care Team in Nottinghamshire County Council. Multiple posts available in South and Mid Nottinghamshire. Fixed-term, full-time, 37 hours per week. Hybrid working. Working Arrangements Hybrid

Responsibilities

  • Develop as a practice lead to support the Team Manager, implementing change and embedding new ways of working.
  • Enable effective integrated working with partners and promote independence through reablement and enablement approaches.
  • Supervise and mentor staff; manage a small complex caseload with mixed priorities.
  • Experience of safeguarding vulnerable people and act as safeguarding manager for supervisees.
  • Promote strength-based approaches, safeguarding principles of choice and control, personalisation, and self-directed support.
  • Collaborate with Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, and Community Care Officers in a fast-paced team.

Essential Requirements

  • Social Work Qualification and registration with Social Work England.
  • AMHP or Best Interests Assessor (BIA) or Practice Educator (Level 2) preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience of safeguarding adults in multi-agency procedures; experience in staff supervision, training, and development.
  • Full driver’s licence and use of a car for work.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Office presence: 2 days per week
