Advanced Practitioner (Child and Family Social Worker)

Location: Beeston Central, Nottinghamshire, NG9 1GR (Hybrid working arrangement)

Salary: £44,075 - £49,282 per annum

Employment type: Permanent, Full time, 37 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Allocated social worker for a limited number of children with complex family circumstances.
• Provide high‑quality assessment, analysis and risk management support to other Social Workers.
• Co‑work and support Social Workers to increase their knowledge and skills.
• Line manager responsibilities for a limited number of non‑social‑work qualified staff and social work apprentices.
• Support with reflective and group supervision for other social workers.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least three years’ experience as a childcare social worker.
• Experience of mentoring or supervising others.
• Ability to manage complex work including pre‑proceedings and care proceedings.
