Purpose
Our technology is used by thousands of companies and affects millions of lives. You are our driving force in leading the technical product teams. Your goal is to ensure that technical projects are completed accurately, within budget and on time, meet the business objectives and support the overall vision to transform the construction industry through the use of our technology. You’ll be a strong leader, working with technical architect’s product teams, ensuring that market-leading solutions are developed to high standards and Causeway retains a competitive edge in the market.
The Tech Lead will report to the Agile Delivery Lead or Technical Delivery Lead.
The key areas of responsibility for a Tech Lead include:
- Technical Leadership.
- Contributing to business operations.
- Contributing to customer relationships and Customer Success.
- Contributing to the development of Causeway products.
- Work with the Group Architect to align team standards and processes to Causeway’s and influence the evolution of Causeway’s standards and processes.
- Lead the design and development of advanced AI solutions, leveraging Generative AI, LLMs, intelligent agents, and other cutting-edge technologies.
- Develop and deploy AI-driven analytics applications, ensuring alignment with architects, stakeholders
- Drive best practices in AI model deployment, monitoring, optimisation, and responsible AI usage.
- Enforce best practices for data quality, data governance, and data integrity across the organisation.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality datasets and actionable insights.
- Strong proficiency in developing and deploying Generative AI models and solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) like GPT-4, Claude, or similar, including fine-tuning and prompt engineering.
- Experience in building intelligent agents and autonomous AI-driven systems with AI frameworks and platforms such as LangChain, Hugging Face, Semantic Kernel, Autogen or Azure AI.
- Integrate with web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask) for data APIs and services.
- Implement and maintain MLOps pipelines to enable continuous model training, versioning, and deployment in collaboration with Data Scientists.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), test automation, and code quality metrics.
- Hands-on experience with "Infrastructure as Code" (Terraform or similar) and automated deployment pipelines.
- Experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and related AI servicesStrong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong team worker with the ability to work within an Agile (Scrum) framework.

- High level of autonomy and the ability to develop an idea into a viable software module with minimum supervision.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills to successfully plan and coordinate a high number of activities, with excellent time management, prioritisation and the ability to remain calm and objective under pressure.
