Analyst, Reconciliations page is loaded## Analyst, Reconciliationslocations: Leedstime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR0223**Key Accountabilities*** Performance of daily reconciliation activities, including the running daily filters, interactive matching and the escalation of aged items.* Ensure that monthly ledger reconciliations, adjustments and transfers are completed in a timely and accurate manner to minimise potential write-offs.* Analyse and interpret financial data to identify discrepancies and highlight to key stakeholders such as Operations.* Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the department to deliver defined business improvements.* Ensure that processes and procedures are fully documented and ensure reconciliations owned are completed according to NewDay Reconciliation Policies.* Ensure the successful delivery of FCF within Operational Finance* Raise Issues & Incidents in a timely manner taking responsibility for resolution & remediation of Reconciliation variances.**Additional Responsibilities*** Foster & maintain key working relationships with operational teams to ensure remediation plans for aged items are in place, taking responsibility for building strong relationships with these teams to ensure effective resolution.* Develop key relationships with senior Finance management team to ensure escalation of issues as appropriate.* Analyse daily key performance metrics and reporting to understand where reconciliation risks lie and to prioritise daily workloads.**Your Skills and Experience****Essential*** Basic understanding of accounting principles* Knowledge of relevant regulations and company policies* Ability to understand, analyse and present large volumes of numerical data* Good spreadsheet skills* Good systems awareness* Good communication skills**Desirable*** Knowledge of Sun general ledger**Personal Attributes*** Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with a wide group within the business, building a level of mutual trust & respect.* Is driven to take accountability for actions and remains responsible for assigned GL reconciliations.* Communicates in an open & honest manner, providing and accepting feedback as a way of improving performance.* Attention to detail in all aspects of role.#LI-Hybrid#LI-TM1**We work with Textio to make our job design and hiring inclusive.**Permanent #J-18808-Ljbffr
