LHH is working with a well-established, independent Top 100 accountancy firm in Liverpool that is looking to welcome an Audit Assistant Manager to their growing audit team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced auditor who’s looking to take the next step in their career, working within a supportive and forward-thinking firm with real progression opportunities.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion across a wide-ranging client base
  • Managing and mentoring junior staff on-site and in the office
  • Reviewing work prepared by the team and providing feedback
  • Supporting Managers and Partners with client relationships and ad hoc advisory work
  • Playing a key role in ensuring deadlines and budgets are met across assignments

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience working within audit in an accountancy practice
  • Strong communication skills, both with clients and team members
  • Ability to manage and support more junior team members
  • Ambition to grow and develop within a progressive firm
