ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT / MANCHESTER / HYBRID / PERMANENT/ £24,000 - £30,000 (DEPENDANT ON EXPERIENCE) PLUS BENEFITS

About the Team / Role

WEX Europe Services Ltd are the owner of the Esso Card Fuel Card Portfolio, and with offices across Europe and the US are one of the Europe’s largest providers of fuel cards. We are currently looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join us .

The successful candidate will be working within our large finance team based in Manchester City Centre on a hybrid basis working within team.

How you’ll make an impact

• Responsible for all aspect of the balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline
• Maintain the Intercompany relationships with direct subsidiaries and other WEX entities ensuring that all entries balance
• Meet tight month end deadlines to ensure that all operating expenses are posted by working day 4 of the monthly close
• Responsible or high volume multicurrency bank reconciliations
• Provide support for the calculation of the daily securitisation offer
• Assistance with yearly audit preparation ensuring all deadlines are adhered to
• Assisting other areas of finance as required
• Use robotic process automation (RPA) to improve the efficiency of existing processes

Experience you’ll bring

• Ideally AAT Level 4 qualified, or graduate or Qualified by experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience of MS access if preferable
• Strong organisational skills
• Good relationship builder
• Attention to detail
• Superior problem-solving kills
• Ability to interface with all levels of management and staff
• Strong time management skills
• Experience of using RPA tolls such as Alteryx and UI path
