We're looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team based in Norwich.

Location: Norwich - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.

Contract: Permanent, full-time - some flexibility on hours if required, just let us know.

In this role, you will work on our Anglian Water IMRDS alliance (integrated maintenance, repair & development services). The team maintains water supply systems, handles emergencies like water bursts, and develops new ways to better serve customers.

What will you be responsible for?

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you'll work within the commercial team on the planned works side of the water network. You will support all aspects of the contractual and financial management of construction projects.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Collaborating with project teams, liaising with partner commercial leads, project engineers, procurement coordinators, planners, site team leaders, and site managers.
• Assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyor in providing commercial management for an allocated programme area within an embedded alliance contract.
• Supporting cost control, maximizing value, minimizing liabilities, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

What are we looking for?

This role is ideal if you have:

• Experience with NEC3 framework.
• Strong commercial awareness.
• An understanding of budgeting, cost control, risk mitigation, and reporting requirements.
• A full driving license.
