We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Mercer (Darwin). This role will be based in our London office. It is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.

As an Associate Consultant at Darwin Services, you will be at the forefront of delivering innovative solutions to global clients, collaborating with experienced consultants, analysing client needs, designing tailored solutions and ensuring seamless implementation through the Darwin Delivery Methodology.

Responsibilities

  • Support project workshops with experienced consultants to understand the client’s business and benefit structures, conducting sessions remotely or onsite.
  • Be responsible for scoping, designing, and documenting requirements in accordance with the Darwin Delivery Method (DDM).
  • Collaborate with Project Managers in updating plans, risk and issues logs in line with DDM.
  • Learn how to follow a project plan and deliver assigned tasks and actions in accordance with timelines.
  • Capture and track process wins throughout the lifecycle of the project and help to improve processes and drive efficiency on a client, departmental and organisational level.
  • Collaborate with the Configuration and QA teams on implementing the agreed design and support the testing of the configured solution to defined specifications/requirements, assisting clients in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Help collate and process client data ahead of launches.
  • Acquire stakeholder and relationship management skills that will enable you to mediate and provide complex solutions on how best to meet the client’s needs within the framework of Darwin’s capabilities.
  • Work with your Squad (Technical) Lead on managing workload prioritisation and keeping relevant stakeholders up to date.

Qualifications

  • Ability to analyse client needs and benefit structures to design effective solutions.
  • Understanding of technical concepts and the ability to apply them in client solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • Capacity to identify issues and develop innovative solutions that meet client needs.
  • Careful documentation and scoping of requirements to ensure accuracy and alignment with client expectations.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team, contributing to collective goals while also managing individual responsibilities.
  • Flexibility to adjust to changing client needs and project requirements.
  • A desire to learn and grow within the role, staying updated on industry trends and technologies.
  • Commitment to driving process improvements and enhancing operational efficiency in project delivery.
