About this opportunity
Business and Commercial Banking (BCB) Markets are welcoming applications for an exciting opportunity to join a diverse and proven team of regulated sales colleagues, covering c3000 RBB, Private Banking, SME, and MC clients. You'll deliver sales, execution, and facilitation of FX transactions for SME and Mid Corporate clients, supporting them through key stages of their business lifecycle and providing financial markets support.
This role focuses on expanding our business in new areas, engaging with New-To-Bank and New-To-Product clients to manage foreign currency and commodity risk, aiming for sustainable growth.
The customer-facing nature of this role requires a results-driven individual with a strong interest in financial markets. Candidates should be excited about client interactions and willing, with our support, to sit the necessary exams to execute trades and communicate independently with clients.
Our team culture is highly supportive and development-focused. We encourage learning across product areas to drive holistic client service. We advocate for our product partners and promote a strong referral process to support excellent behaviors, personal growth, and career opportunities.
We are passionate about developing our digital offerings and leveraging technology to enhance client and colleague experiences. We're investing in innovative digital solutions to complement our expertise. As part of the wider Business & Commercial Bank, we contribute to Helping Britain Prosper, and the successful candidate will play a key role in this strategy.
What you’ll be doing:
- Converting New-To-Bank and New-To-Product opportunities into established FX trading clients.
- Digitising the client’s FX journey via our ‘Connected’ platform.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including coverage teams and product specialists, to drive cross-business opportunities.
- Building and executing a business plan to achieve financial growth targets.
- Pricing and structuring FX risk management solutions, executing trades with clients.
- Engaging clients in our Sales Process, managing documentation, and explaining product offerings.
- Building relationships with coverage colleagues to ensure performance against business plans.

- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
- A problem solver capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.
