About us

Oakdale was established over twenty-five years ago and is highly regarded as a professional therapy provider. We are a not-for-profit community-based organization, committed to providing flexible, bespoke, evidence-based, and high-quality clinical services tailored to each client's needs, as well as meeting the requirements of commissioners for collaborative, value-for-money services.

The Oakdale Group offers a range of specialist assessments, including autism, ADHD, developmental trauma, and attachment. We also provide psychological therapies for children, young people, and adults. Many services are commissioned by the NHS, Local Authorities, and schools, including services for NHS staff. Our services are accessible to the public through private payments, medical insurance, or our charitable arm.

We have clinical centres in Harrogate, Leeds, and Halifax, and deliver services from other consulting rooms in the North of England and remotely across the country.

Our multidisciplinary teams receive excellent feedback from clients and commissioners. We value our clinical and administrative staff and prioritize the wellbeing of both clients and colleagues.
