The Role
As an Associate Transport Planner, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the transport planning and development strategies for a wide range of clients. You'll be responsible for:
Leading and managing projects from initial feasibility through to completion
Overseeing the preparation of transport assessments, travel plans, and feasibility studies
Engaging with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to provide expert advice
Managing and mentoring junior members of the team, ensuring high standards of work
Contributing to business development, helping to win new work and expand client relationships
What We're Looking For
️ Experience in a similar role within transport planning, preferably in development planning
️ Strong knowledge of transport planning principles, modelling, and policy frameworks
️ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with clients and stakeholders
️ Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyse and interpret data
️ Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a small team
