Accountancy practice recruitment specialists, Clark Wood, are currently working with a distinguished and leading firm of chartered accountants who are looking to add an Audit & Accounts Senior to their team in Derby.

As an Audit & Accounts Senior your role will see you leading audit assignments from the initial planning stage through to completion on a range of clients including group structured entities and stand-alone limited companies as well as preparing and reviewing year-end accounts and corporate tax returns. You will be client facing and will be responsible for the supervision of junior staff.

Responsibilities:

• Leading audit assignments from planning to completion
• Preparation and review of year-end accounts
• Preparation of corporation tax returns
• Supervising & developing more junior members of staff
• Liaising confidently and effectively with clients

Requirements:

• ACA / ACCA Qualified or at the latter stages of their studies
• Recent experience of leading audit assignments, either in a pure audit or mixed audit and accounts role
• Prior experience of leading audit assignments is essential
• Practice experience is essential

The successful person will join a firm who are well known for providing an excellent platform for each of their team member’s personal progression and development.
