Overview

Auditor opportunity at Zurich Insurance. Location: UK (London, Fareham or Swindon) – Hybrid. Working hours: part-time, job-share or full-time basis. Closing date for applications: Friday 10 October 2025.

The opportunity: As an Auditor, you will contribute to delivering impactful audit engagements, working closely with audit team members across GA. You will develop an understanding of the business and its risks, participate in all stages of the audit—from planning to reporting—and work in a collaborative, learning, and supportive team environment. You will have the opportunity to gain experience and apply innovative audit approaches, including Data Analytics, IT fundamentals, and GenAI, using agile methods.

What will you be doing?

  • High Quality Audits: Support the delivery of the audit plan by completing assigned audit work to a high standard, on time and with impact. Leverage Data Analytics and GenAI; assess IT fundamentals throughout the audit process.
  • Insightful Reporting: Contribute to drafting impactful issue summaries.
  • Build Strong Connections: Develop and maintain constructive relationships with stakeholders during audits.
  • Foster a Learning Culture: Pursue ongoing development in business, technical, new world, and human skills with a growth mindset.
  • Embrace New World Skills: Actively enhance Data, IT and GenAI capabilities, recognizing their importance for audit outcomes and future-proofing skills.
  • Collaborate as One: Collaborate across audits with all levels to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Uphold Ethics and Integrity: Uphold and model the highest standards of ethics and integrity, ensuring compliance with standards, regulations, and internal policies.

What are we looking for?

  • Open to candidates who are relatively new to internal audit with a few years’ experience (Internal Audit, Risk Management, or Compliance), ideally within financial services, and/or with some insurance knowledge.
  • Working toward or prepared to work toward a professional qualification such as CIA, CISA, or equivalent.
  • Experience in complex, fast-moving, international organizations is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of audit methodology, Internal Audit Standards and internal control frameworks preferred.
  • Basic understanding of insurance is preferred.
  • Experience with new world skills (DA, ITGC and GenAI) preferred.
  • Basic project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and deliver activities on time.
  • Passion and enthusiasm to continue personal growth.
  • Fluent verbal and written English skills.
