Overview

AV Account Manager is a role within the AV team at Havas Media Network. The AV team is responsible for planning, booking, buying and monitoring video advertising on TV, VOD, cinema, audio (including Spotify and podcasts) and CTV (including Netflix) on behalf of clients. The client portfolio includes Dominos, Bumble, Hyundai, Kia, Dreams, Matalan, Studio Canal, Red Bull, Ocado, Dolce & Gabbana and many more. The AV team is made up of 8 teams, each usually comprising a Director, a Manager or senior exec and an exec, with each team responsible for a different set of clients. The successful candidate might already be a manager or could be an exec or senior exec stepping into the next level. The AV Manager will report to an AV Director and manage the development of one to two AV Execs. Office location: Havas Village, 3 Pancras Square, Kings Cross.

Responsibilities

  • As a key member of the AV team, have experience of buying, planning and delivering across TV, Broadcaster VOD, CTV, audio and cinema and experience in managing, inspiring and training junior team members.
  • Accurate planning, monitoring and delivery of AV campaigns and those of direct reports.
  • Ensure pricing and quality requirements of clients are delivered as directed by the AD or BD, and escalate when necessary and in a timely manner.
  • Understand the ‘whys’ behind campaign delivery variance (e.g. marketplace inflation, updating costs, programme conversions).
  • Ensure client communications (spot times, reports, campaign updates) are delivered within agreed time frames and contain accurate details.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of processes (e.g. media bookings, reconciliations) and those of direct reports.
  • Develop trusted client and client team relationships across the portfolio.
  • Competently present to clients (e.g. PCAs, response to briefs).
  • Educate, develop and inspire AV Execs reporting into you.
  • Support on audit response and tracking across the client portfolio with guidance from the AD.
  • Create responses to briefs for TV, audio, BVOD, cinema with clear data-led rationale and support where necessary.
  • Comfortable and competent with Excel, PowerPoint, Techedge, Caria, K2, J-et, Audio Planner, DEN, Doubleclick.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Experience buying, planning and delivering across TV, VOD, CTV, audio and cinema.
  • Experience in managing, inspiring and training junior team members.
  • Ability to communicate with clients and internal teams; confident in presenting and defending recommendations.
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and relevant AV tools and platforms (as listed above).
