Your Future Duties and Responsibilities In this role, you will advise and architect Azure‑based solutions that enable clients to modernise their infrastructure, enhance scalability, and deliver tangible business outcomes. You’ll engage directly with stakeholders, defining cloud strategies, shaping architecture, and guiding teams through delivery — from vision to deployment. Working alongside CGI colleagues and client partners, you’ll balance strategy with hands‑on implementation, ensuring each solution meets performance, security, and cost optimisation goals. You’ll take ownership of technical direction while fostering collaboration and innovation across teams. You’ll be empowered to share knowledge, mentor others, and bring creative thinking to every challenge — driving excellence across every project. Key Responsibilities
Define Azure cloud strategies and architectures aligned to client objectives. Shape and implement solutions spanning IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. Engage with senior stakeholders to align technology with business value. Leverage tools like Terraform and Ansible to enhance performance and reliability. Share expertise and guide team members through complex design and delivery work. Identify opportunities for optimisation, innovation, and continued improvement across engagements.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience designing and implementing Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). Strong architectural design skills with end‑to‑end project delivery experience. Proficiency with automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible. Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert). Experience with DevOps, infrastructure as code, and modern delivery methodologies. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to lead technical teams and present solutions effectively.
Desirable Qualifications
Awareness of other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, OCI). Knowledge of containerisation and hybrid infrastructure integration. Scripting skills in Python or similar languages.
