This is a great opportunity for an engineer who’s transitioned from software development into cloud/platform engineering and enjoys solving complex technical challenges through code.The RoleAs a Systems Engineer within the Cloud Infrastructure team, you’ll design, build, and evolve highly available cloud infrastructure — ensuring scalability, reliability, and automation at every level. You’ll work closely with developers and product teams to deliver robust, secure, and production-grade systems.What You’ll DoBuild tools and automation to support and scale production environments.Collaborate across engineering teams to solve architectural and performance challenges.Manage and evolve Kubernetes clusters (AKS) with a focus on automation, monitoring, and security.Use Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or Pulumi) to provision and manage Azure resources.Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, YAML, GitHub Actions).Drive platform reliability and observability initiatives.Write clean, maintainable, and testable code for tooling, services, and automation.Key AreasDeep understanding of Azure services and End to End solutions — from App Services to networking (security first) and monitoring — with the ability to design, provision, and manage infrastructure programmatically.Infrastructure as Code — Use of tools like Bicep, Terraform, or Pulumi to manage infrastructure declaratively and consistently across environments.Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support fast, safe, and repeatable deployments across dev/test/prod environments (Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines, GitHub Actions).Platform Reliability & Observability — Build in monitoring, alerting, and self-healing capabilities to ensure platform stability and reduce operational overhead.Software Engineering for Platform — Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code (language agnostic).
