Responsibilities

• Act as a solution architect to construct large-scale, complex solutions for clients (solution shaping, estimating, ensuring overall solution and contractual obligations are deliverable).
• Fulfill sales origination activities in early phases of the sales process in conjunction with the sales function.
• Engage with clients to explore service needs and pre-qualify sales opportunities.
• Contribute to the development of our Go-to-Markets and offerings.
• Coach, mentor, and motivate team members to influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
• Lead the solutioning process by interpreting client requirements against Avanade solution templates and delivery capabilities to define a aligned solution.
• Contribute to deal competitor analysis and the development of win strategies.
• Create and document the solution details in a solution plan, engaging internal stakeholders as required.
• Forecast required staffing and identify all expenses to ensure accurate delivery cost estimation over the contract term.
• Review and obtain sign-off from leadership on the solution scope, approach, costs, commercials, and risks.
• Draft and present the proposal to the client, taking ownership of solution elements.

Qualifications / About You

• Analytical, curious, agile; team player with good communication skills.
• Problem-solver, patient, quality-driven; self-motivating with an innovative mindset.
• You have deep knowledge of Azure cloud services to create resilient, scalable, and secure cloud environments across the full breadth of the Azure platform.
• You are able to design and implement Azure Landing Zones to establish a scalable, secure, and compliant foundation for deploying cloud services.
• You have experience with complex migrations from on-premises infrastructure, applications, and databases to Azure, ensuring minimal business disruption.
• You have developed solutions for Edge and Hybrid scenarios by integrating Azure Stack and other technologies to extend Azure capabilities to on-premises environments and edge devices.
• You can architect and deploy cloud-native solutions using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps.
