Where will you be working?
At M Group, we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives.
We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.
This role will be within our Metering team, you’ll join the leading provider of metering services and data collection in the UK energy retail sector, we provide efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity and water meters.
Our meter engineers install, maintain and manage meters to make sure customers are billed correctly and energy usage patterns are monitored. We leverage our industry expertise and data insight capabilities to create solutions that fit the needs of our customers.
This is a home based role and you with frequent travel required to our offices in Sutton and/or Aylesbury.

What will you be doing?
We're looking for an Bid manage to join AgilityEco’s Energy Division, where you’ll drive business growth by leading tendering activities and developing a robust bid library. Collaborating closely with operational teams, you’ll craft compelling, high-quality submissions that showcase our market-leading services. We’re looking for a dynamic, resilient professional with public sector bidding experience—especially with local authorities—or a strong desire to learn in a fast-paced environment. You’ll thrive under pressure, communicate our value through precise technical writing and polished visuals, and play a key role in our work-winning success. What you’ll bring
- A minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
- Bid writing experience / tender or proposal writing, preferably with APMP Foundation or Practitioner level certification
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage with all levels of an organisation and to influence key stakeholders
- An ability to interrogate tender documents and extract critical detail from colleagues to enhance bid submissions
- Understanding of the retrofit industry and the processes involved in the installation of insulation, heating and renewables into domestic properties
