We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Bid-Proposal Manager to join Team Civic, where our services span a wide range of engineering disciplines. In this role, you’ll take the lead on all aspects of the bidding process — from strategy to submission — while also having the opportunity to contribute to marketing initiatives that showcase our impact.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading the end-to-end bid process: PQQs, tenders, capability statements, and presentations
  • Creating, managing, and improving bid libraries and support materials
  • Producing engaging bid files and documents that stand out
  • Supporting marketing activitiesincluding website content, award entries, and promotional campaigns
  • Collaborating across all studios, with occasional travel to Manchester, Leeds, London, and Scotland

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience managing bids(ideally within the built environment)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills, able to prioritise and deliver to deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Officeand Adobe InDesign
  • Confidence in managing and improving bid processes
  • APMP membership(or working towards it) is highly desirable
