Overview

BMS Project Engineer – Honeywell, London and surrounding areas. You will work with customers to understand their requirements and design customized BMS solutions that optimize building performance and energy efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. This is a field-based role traveling across the region and occasionally further as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with input from key internal and external stakeholders, including ownership of subcontract designs (e.g., panels).
• Design and implement projects with the customer using BMS and control systems, HVAC control, integration and applications.
• Work closely with the Project Manager assisting with the production and coordination of the engineering/design submittal to include Equipment Schedule and Schematics, I/O data point list, Device/Wiring Layout Drawings and Installation/Commissioning.
• Develop and submit FAT and SAT documentation for customer approval.
• Compile training handover documentation for each project.

Qualifications

• Experience in a project engineering role delivering technology-based projects, ideally within Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and provide technical direction in a team environment with a strong commitment to safety.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and project sites as part of the role.
