Job Title: Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst you work as part of an Agile Scrum team, responsible for understanding user needs, translating problems or requirements into user stories and defining acceptance criteria. You build strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders and support the Scrum team to achieve goals. Analytical thinking, problem-solving and clear communication are core to effective business analysis. You will contribute to end-to-end solutions, help define practices and ways of working, and work across organizational boundaries to deliver value to customers. Hybrid working includes a mix of Company offices, client sites, and home, with some in-office presence required.

Your role

You will be at the heart of project teams, working between the client and internal teams. The BA role and responsibilities will vary by project, including but not limited to:

  • Contributing to scrum team activities to ensure delivery of team goals
  • Building highly collaborative internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Leading in producing user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Supporting effective business analysis through analytical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Contributing to sprint planning sessions, daily stand-ups and retrospectives

Your skills and experience

  • Strong experience in Requirements and Analysis on large scale and/or multi-project environments
  • Data capture and analysis and ability to use data modelling techniques
  • Understanding of systems lifecycles, requirements capture methods, business systems and analysis, front-end processes, software development lifecycles
  • Proficient in requirements capture tooling (e.g., JIRA and Confluence) and an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Ability to use data modelling techniques and experience with Windows and MS Office applications

Your security clearance

Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks are required. There are no nationality or residency restrictions, though residence outside the UK in the last 3 years may require additional checks. Security Clearance (SC) is desirable for this role.
