We sell the world’s best chicken. We’ve done it since 1939, serving 1000+ communities across the UK and Ireland.
Across the Restaurant Support Centre (RSC), we come to work to be ourselves and to make something of ourselves. Our doors are open — and they can take you anywhere.
The team
Our Tech team is a 60+ strong group building digital experiences that power KFC – from app to kiosk, delivery to checkout. We work cross-functionally, move fast, and focus on delivering smart solutions that benefit customers and teams.
About the role
Over the next few years, KFC is pursuing key technical initiatives across restaurant and digital space to provide technical solutions to over 1000 restaurants in the UK and Ireland. We are looking for a highly skilled and adaptable BA to map system and user requirements across a broad range of solutions. This can include, but is not limited to:
- Restaurant Technology – New POS system and its integration across the business, including Digital, Financial and Menu system integrations.
- Menu Design - Definition of products from supply chain, through to recipes in our restaurants and all the systems touching their journey from supply to fry.
- Labour Systems – Integration of new labour tooling systems across the estate, including complex requirements and gap analysis.
A track record of stakeholder mapping of requirements and user stories is critical to this role. You will engage a broad range of technical and non-technical stakeholders and map the best solution for the business.
What you’ll spend your time doing
You will report into the Senior Project Manager for KFC Tech and work within the Restaurant Technology Team. This team focuses on growth, scalability, and automation of our Restaurants, and you may support the wider Tech function on projects outside this team.
- Capture and document business requirements related to core projects and changes within our restaurants, taking inputs from operations, finance, marketing, restaurant technology and asset protection teams.
- Analyse business processes to identify optimisation opportunities and validate with stakeholders.
- Align user requirements to new systems, communicating across a broad range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Work with the project manager and solution architect to define, categorise and prioritise feature and change requests for incremental releases, from pilot to mass deployment.
- Validate test results against requirements.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and Restaurants (including franchisee partners when required).
- Present to stakeholders across varying levels of seniority with tailored, engaging content.
- Champion the project and support training with context and business benefit articulation.
What we love from you
