Primary Purpose of Role

To place apprentices in nursery workplace settings that are suitable for both the employer and the apprentice.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Development Consultant, based in Birmingham with some work-from-home flexibility. The Consultant will be responsible for driving business growth through activities such as identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and consulting with clients. The role involves maintaining strong communication with potential partners, developing business plans, and guiding employers in utilising Swift’s apprenticeship offerings to meet workforce needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in New Business Development and Lead Generation
• Strong Consulting and Business Planning skills
• Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently
• Experience in the apprenticeship, education, or childcare sectors is a plus
• Provide support to learners in a structured manner that enables them to be fully prepared for interviews and the commencement of employment.
• Ensure that all compliance paperwork relevant to the apprentices’ workplace and employment is fully completed and compliant before the learners’ start date.

Health and safety

All roles that involve daily use of display screen equipment are subject to regular assessment under HSE guidelines to ensure Swift adheres to safe working practices.
