Job Description
Business Development Rep
- 30 days holiday + bank holidays
- Hybrid work: 3 days in office, 2 days remote (City offices on Whiteladies Rd)
- 1-2 weeks international travel annually (North America, Europe, APAC)
This is not your ordinary BDR opportunity!
- Sales role with zero cold calling
- Strategic focus with pre-mapped territory and high-opportunity target list
- No inbound calls; focus on outbound email, in-person meetings, and LinkedIn outreach
- Join a rapidly scaling industry (supply chain, global trade, risk)
- Paid per meeting and 15% of the closed deal value split with the account manager
- Recurring earnings on account maximization for 1 year from account opening
- OTE could range from £15,000 to £100,000 depending on account quality
Candidate Profile
- Experience in sales, but not necessarily salesy
- Experience in SaaS or related markets
- Inventive, creative, and improvement-oriented
- Organized, with good diary, task, and goal management
- Driven, competitive, and motivated to prove oneself
- Big thinker and proactive doer
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Research-oriented, familiar with tools like ChatGPT and media for learning
- Quick learner and resourceful
- Focused and able to concentrate for long periods
- Good business acumen and understanding of organizational workings
- Calm under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Social, collaborative, and team-oriented
- Committed to self-improvement and receptive to coaching
