Location West Yorkshire / Hybrid Working (1–2 days in the office a week Bradford/Leeds) Work type Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday‑Friday. What We Do Yorkshire Water provides essential water and wastewater services to over 5.4 million residents and visitors. We look after communities, protect the environment, and plan for the future. The Finance function plays a key role in meeting customer and regulator expectations. Where You Fit In As our Finance Insight Analyst you will:
Perform standardised reporting and forecasting processes that deliver insight to the commercial and regulatory finance teams and feed Group Financial Control team reporting. Assess and analyse commercial / procurement proposals to support business partner sourcing decisions. Conduct ad‑hoc data analysis to support deployed business partnering. Deliver standard and consistent outputs across designated data supply chains. Accountable for continuous and controlled improvement of processes. Maintain processes included in the integrated management system relevant to the business insights team accountabilities.
What Skills & Qualifications You Will Need
Ideally qualified Accountant or progressing toward qualification. Prior experience leading finance projects. Experience using data to drive insight and affect performance. Excellent Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with Power BI or similar for finance insights, dashboards and automated reports. Exceptional communication skills, oral and written. High level of numeracy. Experience in process control and compliance.
