Salary: Up to £40,000 depending on experience

This is a hybrid working role; you’ll need to be able to work from the Head Office once a month.

Role

Business Intelligence Developer to join the Business Intelligence team. In this role, you’ll develop and deliver high quality Power BI solutions that drive data-informed decisions across the organisation. Our team designs and delivers internal reporting to support continuous performance improvement and enables self-service insight, scalable data models, and modern analytics using Microsoft technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging reports, dashboards, and KPIs using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric
  • Work with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into meaningful reporting solutions
  • Support a modern BI architecture, including pipelines, dataflows, and lakehouses
  • Shape semantic models and define metrics to support enterprise-wide consistency
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects that improve insight, efficiency and outcomes

What you’ll deliver

  • Design and build reporting solutions in Power BI that deliver timely, actionable insights
  • Develop and maintain datasets and semantic models to support self-service analytics
  • Govern Microsoft Fabric structures to enable scalable reporting
  • Act as a Power BI subject matter expert, providing training and documentation to users
  • Assist in migrating legacy reports to modern platforms to improve usability

Required experience and skills

  • Hands-on experience building reporting solutions in Power BI
  • Strong SQL, DAX, and dimensional data modelling skills
  • Understanding of data governance, security, and report performance tuning
  • Confidence working with stakeholders to shape reporting requirements
  • Attention to detail, good communication skills, and a passion for BI best practices
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to document and support self-service BI adoption
