Are you an experienced Business Services Manager with a passion for leading teams and advising a diverse range of SME clients? We are working with a Top 20 accountancy practice that’s looking for a proactive and driven individual to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a client portfolio while also leading and developing a high-performing team.
What You’ll Do:
- Client Portfolio Management: Oversee a diverse portfolio of SME clients, providing tailored business advice across accounting, tax, and advisory services.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of accountants and support staff, ensuring high standards of work and professional development.
- Client Relationship Management: Act as the main point of contact for your clients, building and maintaining strong relationships while identifying opportunities to deliver additional services.
- Project Management: Ensure that all client deliverables are met within deadlines, and manage projects related to financial reporting, statutory accounts, and year-end compliance.
- Technical Support and Advisory: Provide technical guidance on complex accounting and tax matters, ensuring clients receive expert advice to support business growth and compliance.
- Business Development: Collaborate with senior management to help drive business development initiatives, grow existing client relationships, and attract new business opportunities.
What You’ll Need:
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with significant experience in a practice environment.
- Strong technical knowledge across accounting, tax, and advisory services.
- Proven experience in managing a team and developing individuals to reach their full potential.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality services on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
- A proactive and commercial mindset, with the ability to identify new business opportunities and add value to your clients.
- Strong leadership skills and a commitment to fostering a positive, team-focused culture.
