Position Overview

The Business Systems Manager will be responsible for supporting the organization’s core business systems, ensuring they are fit-for-purpose, efficiently integrated, and aligned with business goals. This role will support the management, development, and implementation of new systems and upgrades, while driving continuous improvement, data integrity, and user adoption.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge combined with core business process understanding and excellent project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Systems Management

    • Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of core business systems (e.g. CRM, HR, Finance, and other enterprise applications).

    • Ensure system availability, reliability, and security.

    • Support the development and ongoing maintenance of a robust applications catalogue and architectural documentation outlining integration points and data flows.

    • Support the scaling of the overall corporate technology support model according to light ITIL standards.

    • Ensure best practices are embedded in system support, quality assurance, data quality, configuration/development, enablement and documentation.

    • Support management of vendor relationships and service level agreements.

    • Configure and maintain core business systems in line with business requirements.

  • Implementations & Projects

    • Support, and, where needed, lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.

    • Support, and, where needed, drive PoCs/trials of new AI tools to leverage across internal processes.

    • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure successful delivery on time and within budget.

    • Develop testing, training, and change management strategies to support smooth adoption.

    • Support and/or lead the integration of acquisitions onto the Cube systems ecosystem.

  • Process Improvement & Optimization

    • Analyse business processes and identify opportunities to streamline through technology.

    • Play a key role in driving Cube’s AI agenda: Champion and support the use of AI across internal business processes.

    • Recommend enhancements and solutions that improve efficiency and user experience.

  • Leadership & Support

    • Provide training and support to users across the business.

    • Support the head of business systems in all BAU tasks and projects as required, including engaging with key internal stakeholders to understand business requirements.

  • Governance & Compliance

    • Maintain data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements, including ISO27001 and GDPR.

    • Monitor and enforce system policies, procedures, and standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Extensive experience in business systems management, systems implementation, or IT project management.

  • Strong knowledge of enterprise applications such as ERP, Marketing automation, CRM, HRIS, CLM, or Finance systems. (e.g. Salesforce, Gong, HiBob, NetSuite, DocuSign CLM).

  • Demonstrated success in delivering system implementations and upgrades.

  • Excellent commercial acumen and understanding of business processes (finance, HR, operations, marketing or sales).

  • Experience managing a highly integrated Cloud environment and embedding architectural design principles. (Experience with middleware such as Workato, Mulesoft etc).

  • Strong project management skills (Prince2, PMP, or Agile certification desirable).

  • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple stakeholders.

  • Experience of working in a fast-paced organisation which has experienced hyper growth through acquisition and organically.
