Overview

The Personal Support Service is a domiciliary care service offering support with all aspects of daily living for customers living within Independent Living Schemes, 24 hours per day and at night in the local community. Data input and processing is the main function of this role. Close attention to detail and an understanding of domiciliary care is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure staff are allocated to customers and have all the information needed to provide safe, high‑quality support within a domiciliary care service comprising four extra care schemes, three of which provide 24‑hour support and an overnight care service in the community.
  • Monitor calls and report on any irregularities across the service.
  • Occasionally be located across the schemes to gain a good understanding of the service.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Competence to converse and provide advice and guidance to members of the public in spoken English to CEFR level C2 (Can express themselves spontaneously at length with a natural conversational flow).
  • Eligibility for basic Criminal Record check (unspent convictions) via the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Working arrangements

Hybrid working arrangements are available. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team. This role may offer a job share opportunity.
