Catastrophic Injury Solicitor – Associate / Senior Associate

• Location: Birmingham
• Working pattern: Hybrid
• Salary: Up to £66,000 (Dependent on Experience)
• Level: Solicitor or Legal Executive (1+ PQE)

A prestigious complex injury department is seeking a dedicated personal injury lawyer to join its expanding Birmingham team. This opportunity offers exposure to high-value, technically intricate cases, with genuine scope for progression, leadership, and professional development.

The work

• Lead and manage catastrophic injury claims, including RTA, EL & PL matters
• Draft pleadings and represent clients at JSMs, mediations and court hearings
• Collaborate closely with experts, counsel and top-tier insurer clients
• Contribute to strategy across brain, spinal, amputation and fatal injury cases
• Mentor junior colleagues and enhance your leadership profile

Candidate profile

The department welcomes applications from those with strong litigation backgrounds, including claimant and defendant experience:

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 1+ years’ PQE
• Experience in personal injury litigation (defendant preferred but not essential)
• Excellent drafting and strategic skills
• Strong communication and client-handling capabilities
• Committed to growing within a high-calibre catastrophic injury team
