Our CFO solutions team was established to help clients overcome significant challenges where there could be a knowledge or resource gap. They work directly with Finance teams to deliver business-critical projects, from more simple issues such as year-end accounting to more complex matters like IPOs and M&A. The CFO solutions team sits within our Advisory (Deals & Business Consulting) division and works with a range of clients across different industry sectors.

A look into the role
As a CFO Solutions Business Development Director within our team practice, you will:
- Identify, establish and pursue opportunities, partnerships and client relationships with potential new clients, generating leads and opportunities.
- Engage prospective clients through effective communication and presentations to showcase our services and value proposition.
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to drive growth in our CFO Solutions offering.
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and industry influencers to enhance our market presence.
- Represent our firm at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities to build strategic partnerships and alliances.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations summarising business development activities, progress and outcomes.
Knowing you’re right for us
Joining us as a CFO Solutions Business Development Director, the minimum criteria you’ll need is a proven track record of business development within a B2B environment at C-Suite level with a strong upper midmarket network. It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box—we’ll help you develop along the way.
- You’ll have a thorough understanding and a proven track record of lead generation, sales and identifying cold targets in a professional services environment.
- Strong understanding of finance functions, market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to break down silos, barriers.
- Self-motivated and results oriented.
