About the role

An exciting opportunity to work in a sensitive but rewarding area of law. You will support clients through care proceedings from initial involvement to final hearings, advise on special guardianship applications and related public law matters. You will undertake advocacy, representing clients in court and providing clear, compassionate guidance to vulnerable clients.

Responsibilities

  • Support clients through care proceedings from initial stage to final hearings.
  • Advise on special guardianship applications and related public law matters.
  • Represent clients in court and deliver clear, compassionate guidance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years' PQE as a Childcare Solicitor.
  • Experience managing your own caseload in public children law matters.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to empathise and remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to explain complex legal issues clearly and reassuringly.
