Client Learning Consultant (Senior Manager) – Visa

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Learning Consultant to partner with clients to assess learning needs and support Visa University (VU) in designing, delivering and evaluating tailored learning solutions across Europe. The role will drive the learning consulting practice, contribute to revenue targets, and collaborate with sales, curriculum and client teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Launch and grow the Learning Consulting Practice in Europe, leveraging Visa’s frameworks and tools.
• Design customized training programs—including bespoke courses, study trips and immersions—using human‑centered design principles.
• Develop and execute models for content solution customization, scalable across diverse client needs.
• Refine client needs analysis, solution identification and design processes, and create repeatable evaluation approaches.
• Participate in budget management for vendor and system support.
• Partner with regional VU Sales and account executives to capture learning needs and communicate value to prospects.
• Collaborate with the VU curriculum team on content creation and process improvement for large‑scale opportunities.
• Identify, map and catalog existing organizational assets, including previous bespoke programs.
• Create a regional teaching faculty to deliver VU training in multiple languages.
• Build rapport and credibility with clients, colleagues and stakeholders to foster strong relationships.

Business Development – Revenue Growth

• Develop go‑to‑market strategy for new revenue sources and bespoke product line.
• Design curriculum tailored to client needs and manage sales pipeline to meet revenue targets.
• Collaborate with VCA and other functions to maintain a robust opportunity pipeline.
• Track and report on monthly, quarterly and annual performance metrics.
• Prepare client proposals and ensure seamless solution delivery.

Position: Hybrid – in‑office days confirmed by hiring manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in learning, consulting, sales or business development.
• Experience in the payments industry.
• Strong learning and development expertise: needs analysis, diagnostics, solution design and evaluation.
• Proven track record in designing and delivering successful training programs.
• Experienced external consultant with client‑centric approach to learning strategy.
• Ability to drive innovation and change to improve learning solution efficiency.
• Business acumen and experience building business practices.
• Budget management and sales reporting experience.
• Experience in a matrixed organization with regional collaboration.
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Relationship‑building skills and client‑relationship experience.
• Language: German, Polish or Italian speaking is an asset.
