As a Clinical Negligence Dental Solicitor, you will take ownership of your own caseload, handling claims with autonomy, professionalism, and a proactive, client-focused approach. You will play a key role in delivering positive outcomes for our clients while contributing to the performance and development of the wider team. Responsibilities

• Managing your own Dental Clinical Negligence caseload from instruction to resolution.
• Delivering high-quality support and guidance to colleagues within the team.
• Contributing to effective case progression strategies that are both client-focused and commercially driven.
• Supporting the Team Leader/Head of Department in achieving departmental KPIs.
• Accurate and comprehensive time recording.
• Strategic case planning in collaboration with the Team Leader and team members.
• Identifying and progressing cases that are ready for Letter of Claim, settlement, or issue.
• Coordinating casework and gathering key documentation to progress matters efficiently.
• Drafting legal documentation including Letters of Claim and instructions to experts and counsel.
• Negotiating settlements and managing the litigation process where required.
• Reviewing and overseeing correspondence and legal documents produced by junior team members.
• Advising the team on complex or technical case issues, with support from leadership as needed.

Essential Skills And Experience

• Experience in Dental Clinical Negligence
• Demonstrable experience managing their own clinical negligence caseload.
• Excellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• A high level of commercial awareness within the legal industry.
• Ability to provide coaching and mentorship to junior colleagues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Proclaim case management software.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional client care.
• A flexible and proactive approach, with a passion for achieving the best results.
