Job Title: Commercial Finance Manager
Location: Manchester (Salford) - 2 days in office
Contract: 6-month interim
Rate: £60,000 (day rate equivalent)

We're working exclusively with a fast-paced, data-driven business in the telco/trading space to appoint an interim Commercial Finance Manager. This role sits at the intersection of business partnering and data-driven finance, supporting senior stakeholders in driving commercial insight, automation, and reporting across key revenue and margin streams.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with commercial and sales leaders to provide insight on revenue, pricing, and margin performance
• Lead the delivery of high-quality reporting across subscription revenue and gross margin
• Drive process improvement and automation in reporting, leveraging Power BI and D365
• Source, manipulate, and interpret large data sets to identify trends and support strategic decisions
• Enhance month-end close and reporting processes
• Provide challenge and commercial insight to support growth initiatives

Requirements

• (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Proven experience in commercial finance with strong business partnering skills
• Demonstrated ability to source, structure, and automate financial data into actionable insights
• Strong systems knowledge - Power BI and D365 essential
• Prior exposure to telco, trading, or subscription-based revenue models preferred
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-rich environment
